PROJECT: New-build Family Housing on vacant industrial site

SUMMARY: 45 dwellings, on an urban brownfield site which formerly housed the famous Crossley Motors factory. The scheme consists of 10no two-bedroom, 14no three-bedroom and 21no 4-bedroom homes. All dwellings comply with both Manchester Space Standards and Nationally Described Space Standards. All dwellings have in-curtilage parking with private gardens.

The design of the new development has attempted to draw upon some of the vernacular architectural characteristics of surrounding dwellings whilst also referring back to Crossley Motors and thus creating elevations with a modern character.

SERVICES: Full architectural services from inception to planning submission for One Manchester. All construction drawings for the contractor at post-contract stage.
